Dream Day Charleston is considering applications for a Photobooth Attendant for weddings, events & parties within the Charleston area!

Job Description

Event Pay: $150-$200

Part-Time and Event-Based: Hours vary, typical events are 6-7 hours door to door (4/5 hr photobooth run time + some set up time and local travel). Most events are in the evening (working hours 4pm-10pm for example). Some events are shorter, though!

Event experience preferred but not required. Ideally you have worked with people before in a customer facing role. 

Minimal training (online and in-person training – about 3 hrs of training total)

*This job is pretty easy to learn and we are happy to help accommodate all questions. We are empathetic and understanding owners (part-woman owned business).

Requirements / Expectations: 

  • Outgoing personality. Able to work with wedding vendors on site and be respectful, professional, courteous. 
  • Be able to setup, oversee and breakdown the photo booth + backdrop + prop table for each event (everything is provided to you).
  • Be able to lift 45 pounds of equipment. Most stuff is lighter but the booth case itself is a little heavy.
  • Willingness to commit to events in advance (weeks/months out)
  • Familiarity with smart phones and mobile technology
  • Gig based opportunity – not on a set schedule. It is a specific event-date based role. Events are usually in the afternoon/evening hours. Most events are on Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays. Occasional opportunities on weekdays.
  • Schedule Flow: We will message you and check availability before booking – if you accept the opportunity, we need you to commit to it and not back out.
  • Reliable vehicle with enough space to fit equipment (Mid-Size Sedan can work)
  • Valid driver’s license and US citizenship
  • Prefer someone who lives in the Summerville/Ladson/Hannahan area for easy pick up and drop off of equipment. (Our gear is in Summerville, where you will grab before the event and drop off after). Equipment located near exit 198 in Summerville behind Target.
  • Must be familiar or understand Apple iPad software
  • No Drinking or Smoking at events. Must be sober for event.
